11 to 13 Years Old - Safety Tips

1. Never give out any personal information, such as your address, phone number, password or photograph, without your parents’ permission.

2. Respect the conditions established with your parents regarding when you can use the Internet and chat online, and for how long.

3. Never make an appointment to meet in person with someone you have met on the Internet without the presence of one of your parents. Remember, the people you meet over the Internet are just like strangers on the street: you can’t believe that what they tell you about themselves is always true.

4. Never buy something online or download anything without first obtaining your parents’ permission.

5. Never gossip or say anything about anyone that might hurt them or get them in trouble.
