Info
- Surfing the Internet is a great way to learn new things and stay in touch with friends, but it can also be dangerous. Following these basic Internet rules can help you stay safe and still have fun online:

• The computer should be in a high-traffic area, such as the living room, rather than a bedroom.
• When chatting online use a nickname that will not reveal anything about you.
• Never give out your photo, name, e-mail address, phone number, home address, name of your school or your parent’s credit card number on the Internet.
• Choose a password that is difficult for others to guess, but easy for you to remember. Do not reveal it to anyone, even to your best friends.
- Be careful with the information you give out on the Internet, and if you see something that makes you uncomfortable, tell a parent or another adult you trust.

- Invite your parents to visit your website with you, and respect the Internet safety rules your family has established. Remember, using the Internet is not a right; it is a privilege and a responsibility.
